Based in southern California, Traveling Tide Pools provides fun and educational experiences at events, schools, private parties, and corporate events.

 

We have a passion for education and discovery. Our staff are experts on sea life and oceanography and have many years of experience working with sea life.

Traveling Tide Pools is licensed and insured. Our staff is Live Scanned by the State of California Department of Justice and Criminal Background Checked. Our staff has also been vetted and approved for visits to US military bases.

Bobby Persell
Managing Director - Traveling Tide Pools

Our lead tide pool expert and the Managing Director of Traveling Tide Pools, Bobby Persell, is a licensed Scuba Diver, Rescue Diver, and a Dive Master Candidate. As a professional Aquarist, his knowledge of ocean animal health and salt water chemical balance is extensive. Bobby is a graduate from California State University in San Marcos and has been studying marine and marine/zoology at a college level for more than 8 years.
